Sophie Berry describes the way hundreds of cast members are moved on and off the field of the MCG during the Ceremony.
-So we're at FA5, which is Field Access 5. And we've got three field accesses here in our arena tonight. And this is where we've got large groups of cast going on and off to perform. So we've got several large groups of about probably 100 or 200 performers.
We've got our Koala Kids, which is involving the Havoc Bear section. They are entering out here. There's also the Indigenous crowd come off here with their glowing balls. The flag bearers for the protocol section entering here. But lots of exits of people running off towards us fast. So we've got to make sure it's all clear and safe for them all.
As you can hear, this is our first dress rehearsal, so the crowd's really excited, which is a good thing. Well, it's going to be pretty hectic tonight because this is our first sort of proper run with audience and everything. But I think after, we'll definitely get it right on the night.
