Becker painted the tent in which he and Dr Beckler lived at Bilbaka.
He wrote the whole scene appeared to me so pleasing that I could not help painting it. He then describes the trees in the scene and the bird perched in the tree above. He explains the two smaller trees are an acacia and tecoma, while the large tree behind is a eucalyptus.
