1866 Letter to James Harrison
This letter is from the mayor of Geelong to James Harrison in 1866. It is written on behalf of all of James Harrison's friends upon hearing of his imminent departure from Geelong. The first lines read: "Dear Friends - of whom you have many - have learned with deep regret that your long and useful career with the Press of the Colony, of which you were one of the earliest and most energetic pioneers, is about to cease.."
