TarraWarra Museum of Art
TarraWarra Museum of Art (TWMA) opened in December 2003 and is the first significant privately funded, publicly owned visual arts museum in Australia. It is located in the beautiful Yarra Valley, just one hour?s drive from Melbourne, in a building designed by Melbourne architect Allan Powell. TWMA?s exhibition program includes collection works, international art, single artist survey shows, contemporary art, and installations. TWMA also offers a wide range of public programs and educational activities. TWMA operates as a not-for-profit trust and is funded by the philanthropic Besen Family Foundation.
