The aims of the Society are: (1) recording and preservation of the district's oral and written history; (2) the collection and presentation of significant artefacts relevant to local social and economic development; and (3) the research of community events and family history. Founded 1982.

Events: Historical walks; cemetery walks; 'Open House' on March Labour Day Weekend; Anzac Day display on April 25; flea market, every second Saturday from September to May.
