This Museum is one of three army museums situated in the Simpson Barracks, Macleod. It is open on Tuesdays, 9am to 3.30pm, or by appointment. Admission – suggested donation $5, children free.

Our Collection

The Australian Army Signals Museum displays signalling equipment used by the Australian Army from 1885 and memorabilia relating to the Boer War, World Wars I and II, and subsequent actions. Displays include a replica ?Rats of Tobruk? Signals Office, exhibits relating to Korea, Malaya, Vietnam and UN Peace Keeping operations, a Women in Signals display, a wide range of heliographs, lamps, cipher, military radios and Special Operations Equipment, and an interactive Morse Code facility.
