About the organisation

The multi-award winning Yarra Ranges Regional Museum opened in 2011. With stunning architectural design set in tranquil surrounds, the museum features exhibition spaces, programs for all ages, a resource room, retail space and café. It is a place for people to come together; to explore, create and connect. A program of changing exhibitions offers an opportunity to enjoy an array of contemporary and historic themes with exhibitions ranging from Prize Portrait Photography to Ambush: Ned Kelly and the Stringybark Creek Murders; Motorcycles in the Yarra Ranges to the Front Covers of the Australian Rolling Stone magazine 1972 - 2010. The Museum has free admission and is open 6 days – closed Monday.
