About the organisation

The Historical Society operates from the Courthouse, which was was built in 1866 and used until 1984.

The building remained at the request of the people with its furnishings intact. It is situated in a historic community precinct established in 1859.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at 7.30, visitors are welcome. Society Annual membership $10.
